Connection troubleshooter

Back to status

If LobFile is not loading for you, this runs a handful of checks from inside your browser to work out whether the problem is LobFile, your DNS, or something on your own network.

If the test finds a problem, the results are sent to LobFile so the cause can be looked into. That report contains your public IP address, your browser's user agent, your time zone, and the results shown below. It contains nothing about what you do on LobFile. If the test finds no problem, nothing is sent.

What this test cannot see

A browser is not allowed to look up DNS directly, read a certificate, or trace a route, so some of this is inference rather than measurement. DNS answers below come from Cloudflare and Google's public resolvers, not from your own, which means the test can tell you what the correct answer is but cannot read what your resolver told your device. When a check says your network is the likely cause, it is because everything else came back healthy, and that is worth confirming with nslookup lobfile.com before acting on it.
